"Jesus came near and said to them, "All power in Heaven and over the earth has been given to me." Matthew 28:18
"One man esteems one day more highly than another; another esteems all days alike. Let every one be thoroughly convinced in his own mind. He who regards the day as sacred, so regards it for the Master's sake; and he who eats certain food eats it for the Master's sake, for he gives thanks to God; and he who refrains from eating it refrains for the Master's sake, and he also gives thanks to God. For not one of us lives to himself, and not one dies to himself. If we live, we live to the Lord: if we die, we die to the Lord. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. For this was the purpose of Christ's death on the cross and resurrection, namely that He would be Lord both of the dead and the living." Romans 14:5-9
Therefore, "I solemnly implore you, in the presence of God our Father and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who is about to judge the living and the dead, and by His Appearing and His Kingship: proclaim the Word of God, preach the Gospel, be zealous in season and out of season; convince, rebuke, encourage, with the utmost patience as a teacher. For a time is coming when they will not tolerate wholesome instruction, but, wanting to have their ears tickled, they will find a multitude of teachers to satisfy their own desires; and will turn away from listening to the truth and will turn aside to fables. But as for you, be vigilant, exercise habitual self control, and live not a self indulgent life, but do the duty of an evangelist and fully discharge the obligations of your office and ministry." 2nd Timothy 4:1-5
Jesus is King. Jesus was King twelve years ago, eight years ago, four years ago, last year and yesterday. He's King today. He's King. He's always been King. He will always be King. Praise the King. Glory to the King. Jesus is King. Period. Amen.

Exhortation and Encouragement to Pray for the 2012 US Elections
I hope we're all praying for God's will in this evening's US elections. We all have our ideologies, but let's agree to to pray for God's ideology this evening. Pray for all the candidates.
"I exhort then, first of all, that supplications, prayers, intercessions and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all men; including kings and all who are in high station, in order that we may live peaceful and tranquil lives with all godliness and gravity. This is right, and is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who is willing for all mankind to be saved and come to a full knowledge of the truth. For there is but one God and but one Mediator between God and men, (our Lord and Savior and God's only begotten Son) Christ Jesus, Himself (, born as,) a man; who gave Himself as the redemption price for all, a fact testified to at its own appointed time, and of which I have been appointed a herald and an Apostle. I am speaking the truth. It is not a fiction." 1st Timothy 2:1-7. St. John 3:16. Weymouth New Testament
"Father, as this election unfolds, we seek to better understand the issues and concerns that confront our cities, states and country. The gospel compels us to respond as a faithful church and as faithful citizens in our community. We ask for eyes that are free from blindness, so that we might see each other as brothers and sisters, as one and equal in dignity, especially those who are victims of abuse, violence, injustice, deceit and poverty. We ask for ears that will hear the cries of children unborn and those abandoned, men and women oppressed because of race or creed, religion or gender. We ask for minds and hearts that are open to hearing the voice of leaders who will bring us closer to your Kingdom.
We pray for discernment, so that we may choose leaders who hear your Word, live Your Word and reflect Your love, and keep in the ways of Your truth, as they follow in the steps of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and His Apostles. Guide us and lead us in Your Kingdom of justice and peace.
We ask this in the name of Your Son and our Lord Jesus Christ and through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Amen." Author Unknown. Amen.
