"Why are you striving these days?
Why are you trying to earn grace?
Why are you crying?
Let me lift up your face. Just don't turn away.
Why are you looking for love?
Why are you still searching as if I'm not enough?
To where will you go child? Tell me where will you run?
I'll be by your side wherever you fall,
in the dead of night whenever you call
and please don't fight these hands that are holding you. My hands are holding you.
Look at these hands and my side.
They swallowed the grave on that night.
When I drank the world's sin,
so I could carry you in and give you life.
I want to give you life."
Hi Josh, I am a 56 year old woman who loves to watch true crime mysteries on ID Channel and today I just finished watching your story with Paula Zahn. In my whole life I have NEVER cried over a crime story no matter what the out come. But this morning I have been crying through the whole story of your wrongful conviction. Your story touched my heart in such an unusual way? I felt such heartache over what you have been through. Many a man or woman have gone through such things as this but your story hit me so deep for some reason? I feel angry that you had to go through what you did as an innocent person. I am so happy that you finally got out of prison but at such a horrible cost to your past. I can only wish you a future of happiness, love, and success in all you do. I pray you can get over this some day and live in peace for the rest of your life! And I thank God that you found Jesus in your most darkest moments. And I pray HE gets you through the rest of your days here on earth!! I will always keep you in my thoughts and prayers...God Bless you always! (Bev)
