This Life of mine ...

I was blessed with the opportunity to go to the Dallas Cowboys/Chicago Bears game (wherein the Bears won 27-20) with my virtual little brother, Aaron Williams, and his wife and spent time with other friends in the Dallas area.

I was invited, able to sit on and participate in a panel discussion on alternatives to sending our youth and young adults to adult prisons, designed to kick off a Campaign for Youth Justice Project ( in the state of Missouri.

But... I've also had an "old friend" threaten me and attempt to extort me for $30,000 + dollars.

This life of mine is blessed...bitter sweet, but blessed.

2 Corinthians 4:7-9

7~But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. 8~We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; 9~persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.

  1. If God is for you who can (successfully) be against you? We're standing with you.

  2. Abba Father is so beautiful isn't He? He keeps us covered under His Mighty Wings, His power surpasses the greatest of what our finite minds imagines it to be...the tallest and strongest mountain is like a grain of sand to Him. His object of desire is who He created in His own image. Who can take us from the love of the Lord? Who can remove His wings of safety from around us? No one...can you hear the mountains tremble? Who dares to stand up to the Lord who is working on our behalf?

You know that God has you Josh, and your humility in the face of testing is wonderfully noted...thank You Jesus for Your unfailing love.
