Why? How?

Why? Why am I not so angry all the time? How is it that I've been able to withstand the temptation to rage? What's the purpose?

The long and short of it: others. The other long and short of it: it's not about me. The summary of both long and shorts: Jesus.

What He's done in my heart through this to teach me about His love for others is sometimes beyond my ability to summarize.

His love is amazing! 1st John 4:19 says, "We love Him, because He first loved us." The same could be said of our love for others. We love others, because He first loved us.

His love & forgiveness free'd us to love Him and to love & forgive others. His love & forgiveness empowers our love & forgiveness to free others to love & forgive and, ultimately....praise Him. Amazing!

His love is amazing!!!

Your love is amazing!

  1. Dear Josh,
I watched your story air last night and i couldn't help but cry. I am a believer like you are your story and forgiving heart is truly like God commanded in Matthew 5:16" Let your light shine before men that they may see your good deeds and praise your father in Heaven". You are indeed a testimony and I want you to realize that God took you through that path so you might have a story to share. Think back and imagine your life with the false prison term, it could have been worse. Thank God for where you are and May he continue to uphold and lift you up. Keep the light shinning.

  2. Josh,

I have been reading Rich Mullins a lot lately.

    Do you like him?

This life has shown me how we're mended and how we're torn, how it's O.K. to be lonely as long as you're free.

  3. Josh please check your email or Facebook. I will provide my phone number.

I want to help you in any way if I can and perhaps use your story to help others gain their freedom.

Just let me know what I can do for you.

Cry with you? Pray with you? Certainly.

    I'm here.

  4. You have lived a life that no one could even imagine. You are very brave. Besides his LOVE one of the greatest gifts is forgivness. When you let go , gave your hate and anger to
God you were set free. After all no one can deal with it better.
