Happy New Year!

2010 is about to be past, 2011 is almost here. May the present see you brighter. May the coming season bring you cheer. Happy New Year!

2010 brought beauty, tragedy, questions, answers, transition, victory, endurance, humility, restoration, healing, new beginnings and dreams. Change is in the air though and I'm excited. In Christ, 2011 will be full of life and eternal life, mercy and grace, sacrifice, timing, abiding and success.
"For I know the thoughts and plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:11-13
May your new year see you entering the best year, to date, of your life.

  14. Hi Josh,

Your story is incredible! I would consider it a gift to be able to share and talk about your testimony as I see you as one of God's miracles like me. I would love to share in hindsight what He has brought you through! I spoke to some women on forgiveness but don't think it could come near what you might have to say on the subject? Not to mention what and where your thoughts are on the agape love of Christ? And also the difficulties on waiting for God to bring his plan into fruition on his timetable? My name is Jodi and again it would be a total gift to share testimony and what we could all learn from your testimony. If you would consider contact I can be reached at jolynnwil@yahoo.com. God Bless you and keep you in all past and future repercussion from what was done to you (o:

  15. Josh,
I admire you for turning something horrible into something good by telling your story and helping others! God DOES have a plan and a purpose for you. It may have been delayed for 16 years, but PRAISE GOD for your freedom! From one of your new FB friends, a military lady from NC. :)

  16. This morning I watched a one-hour documentary about your case. I was saddened and inspired all at once. What an incredible strength of will, what a genuinely good heart you have.
Having not lived your life, I cannot toss any platitudes your way, but none are needed.
It's heartening to know that justice finally prevailed, and that mistakes were admitted to.
I hope you continue to find good things coming to your life.

  17. Josh, one word tells it...LOVE. I send love to you and all the others out there. We might not understand the events of our lives here on this planet but one day we will understand. Your courage gave me tears. Reach for the stars Josh.

  18. i just watched the paula zahn episode of your case and found it riviting. It is hard to believe that in this country a person can be aressted and put away for life on such little or no real evidence at all. i am glad that someone believed you and did every thing in their power to get you exonerated. Kudos to the sherriff that reopened your case because of his gut feeling that something was not right. This is what makes our country so great is that there are people that will do everything and anything in their power to try and right what they believe is a gross miscarriage of justice. This also reafirm my belief in a higher authority. I belive God sent that social worker to you and he was able to achieve what man could not. I have six children,4 boys,30,28,21,20 and 2 girls 18,and 13. I really worry about my youngest daughter Anna. She is so boy crazy and will talk to any one. On the internet it is hard to watch her and i worry constantly about what is out there. You hear of young girls just dissapering and never seen again. It is all over the news and it scares me.I know this has nothing to do with your case but it gives me an outlet to say how I feel. I cant imagine the hell you went through and dont wish it on any innocent person, but being in there gave you some insight on how horrible and evil some can be. God Bless You and I hope you have a very rewarding life and a future with your girl. You are in my thoughts and prayers God loves you and I love you too. May your life begin anew. 19. Isaiah 41:10. Fear not, have faith. Jesus IS alive. God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind.

  20. thank you for your faith. I had moved away from God for a while after my mother died. I was angry for a long time, but was able to renew my faith in the Lord. This just showed me that there are people out there that do care for me and my family even though you dont even know me.I guess that is the gift of caring that Jesus has given to you and others to help people like you and me live our lives the way Jesus wants us to.You and your story has been such an inspiration to me and to know that you care means so much even though you dont know me.God bless you, Darlene

  24. Joshua, I just recently saw your story on 48 hours, yes I am behind by miles. My heart goes out to you. My dad is imprisoned for something DNA exonirated him from. He has fought til he quit just to get to come home soon. He is 83 and failing health. May God continue to bless you in every way. Your faith and belief are very uplifting. I am a small town KY "girl", that always have believed that right is right and wrong is wrong-taught my children the same thing. I stand on my faith and God is my rock. God Bless and best wishes to you
